Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has highlighted the state’s experiences at the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
The governor said he co-presented The Female Diplomat, a book by Oluwakemi T. Amuda chronicling the achievements of 50 women who have distinguished themselves in public service, particularly at the global level.
AbdulRazaq said the occasion provided an opportunity to share Kwara’s experiences with a wider audience, adding that the stories highlighted the importance of representation, identity and courage in occupying decision-making spaces.
He also said he joined Vice President Kashim Shettima at a meeting with Nigerians in the Diaspora, where he commended them for their contributions, remittances and efforts as ambassadors of Nigeria.
