ILEMDA Commends Emir for Recognizing Exemplary Leadership
Mahamud Honored with Prestigious Alangua Title

The Ilorin Emirates Medical Doctors Association (ILEMDA) has commended the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, for turbanning Alhaji Abdulkadir Mahamud, a former Councilor of Oke-Ogun Ward in Kwara.
The association, in a congratulatory message signed by the ILEMDA President, Dr Saheed Jimoh, on Friday in Ilorin, felicitated with Mahamud, as the new Alangua of Oke-Ogun.
The doctors described the turbanning of Mahamud as well deserved and prayed for Allah’s guidance on the new Alangua and his office.
“This prestigious recognition is a testament to Alhaji Mahamud’s exemplary leadership, dedication, and selfless service to the community.
“We pray that Allah continues to guide and bless him with wisdom, strength, and prosperity as he assumes this noble title,” the association said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Alangua of Oke-Ogun is a traditional title under the leadership of Balogun Fulani of Ilorin. (NAN)
