The Kwara State Government has reiterated the need to strengthen collaboration with relevant agencies to ensure a robust budget and accurate planning in the state. It also appreciates the Kwara Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) for its effectiveness and proactiveness in ensuring stability in the increase of the State’s Internally Generated Revenue.
The Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Dr. (Mrs.) Mary Arinde, stated this today during a meeting with the KWIRS management in her office.
Dr. Arinde noted that the State Government has not relented in its efforts to partner with all principal stakeholders for proper planning and accurate budgeting in the state, assuring the Management of KWIRS of continued collaboration to further enhance the development of Kwara State.
In her remarks, the Executive Chairman, Mrs. Folashade Omoniyi, thanked the Ministry for collaborating with the Agency to actualize the vision of the Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, for total balance in the economic growth of the state, stressing the need for effective collaboration with all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies and called for the cooperation of all stakeholders across the State.
