Kwara Hajj 2025: Collaboration Assured
Leadership Pledges Support for Successful Pilgrimage Operation

The Kwara Amirul-Hajj and Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Alebiosu, has assured of his commitment to collaborating with the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for a successful 2025 Hajj operation.
Oba Alebiosu gave the assurance on Tuesday in Ilorin when he received members of the Board who were on a familiarisation visit, led by the Board Chairman, Prof. Mahmud-Mashood Jimba.
He, however, expressed gratitude to Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for appointing him to lead the state’s delegation to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj exercise.

“I appealed for board members’ support to ensure a successful and hitch-free Hajj exercise.
“I also commend the board for its proactive approach, and I urge the officials to maintain transparency and accountability in handling the affairs of pilgrims,” the Amirul-Hajj said.
Earlier, Jimba had explained that the visit provided ample opportunity to formally brief the newly appointed Amirul-Hajj on the state’s level of preparedness for the upcoming May 2025 pilgrimage.
He called for the cooperation and support of the Amirul-Hajj and other stakeholders to ensure a successful Hajj operation.
Jimba assured Alebiosu of the board’s maximum support in ensuring a seamless and well-coordinated Hajj operation for intending pilgrims from the state.
“The Board has been working diligently to finalise logistics, accommodation, medical arrangements and pilgrims’ welfare packages, in line with the guidelines set by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and the Saudi Arabian authorities,” he said.
Jimba promised that the board members were ready to work together with the Amirul-Hajj to have a successful Hajj exercise. (NAN)
