Second-Half Goals Secure Victory for ABS Ilorin Over Offa FC

ABS of Ilorin FC secured a 2-0 victory over Offa FC in the matchday six fixture of the 2025 Nationwide League One (NLO) played on Wednesday, at the Rashidi Yekini Main bowl of George Agbazika Innih Stadium, Ilorin, Kwara.
Second half goals from Johnson Akintola in the 57th minute and Ayo Ebi in the 63rd minute handed ABS their first win in the ongoing New year Mega lottery Nationwide League One 2025 season.
After a challenging start with three draws and two defeats, the team displayed hunger and determination to secure the win.
Akintola and Ebi’s second-half goals earned the team six points, lifting them off the bottom of the table.
Head coach of the team, Benjamin Adieze, expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance.
“I’m pleased with the team’s effort and determination, but we can’t afford to be complacent.
“We have more work to do and crucial matches ahead. Let’s keep pushing forward and stay focused,” he said.
ABS will take on Dohz FC on Tuesday.
In other games, La Planet Football Academy put up a commendable display to stop high-flying Na Royal FC, beating the Kwara Centre 1 group leader 2-0 in the process.
Peter Akomolafe put La Planet 1-0 up on the hour mark before Teslim Musa made it 2-0 10 minutes later to complete the win.
The win for La Planet means they now share the same 13 points with Na Royal FC in the Kwara Centre 1 group standings.
The game between Dohz Football Academy and Ka’ah Football Club ended goalles,s while Barrier FC beat Gaa-Akanbi FC 2- 1.(NAN).
