Kwara CAILS Receives NBTE Approval for Six New Academic Programs

College Expands Offerings with ND Programs in Law, Library Science, and More

The Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (CAILS), Ilorin, has received approval from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to begin six new academic programmes.

 

Mr Afolabi Suleiman, the college’s Chief Registrar, spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Ilorin and explained that the approval marked a milestone for the institution.

“The institution will commence National Diploma (ND) programmes in Law, Common & Islamic Law, Library Science, and Mass Communication for an initial period of two years.

 

“Our Computer Science and Accountancy programmes have been granted full accreditation for five years.

 

“With these approvals, CAILS is poised to expand its academic offerings, providing students with greater opportunities for quality education and professional development.

 

“This has cemented the institution’s reputation for academic excellence and professional training,” the chief registrar said.

 

Suleiman commended the efforts of the college’s central working committee, various sub-committees, and the entire community, whose hard work and commitment played a crucial role in securing the approval.

 

“These achievements are a testimony to our collective dedication to academic excellence. May God Almighty continue to bless the institution with even greater accomplishments,” he stated. (NAN)
