“Erase Embezzlement Mentality”: Pastor Advises Nigerian Youths

Call for Responsible and Prepared Leaders to Rescue the Nation

Pastor Ayorinde Benjamin of Christ For All Church, Ilorin in Kwara, has advised Nigerian youths to prepare for leadership roles and shun an embezzlement mentality.
Benjamin, who gave the advice on Friday in Ilorin during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said most youths were desperate to lead with the wrong mindset and zero preparation.
According to him, most youths want to lead without understanding the role of a leader, because they have the wrong notion to go and embezzle, if elected as a leader.
“They never care to right the wrong of their past leaders, they are desperate to lead without leaning the basic skills of a good leader.
“All they want is to continue from where their past leaders stop. The youths should be ready to rescue Nigeria from sinking.
“Our youths should erase the notion of embezzlement, be honest, embrace transparency, be ready to sacrifice, and also take action.
“They should stop thinking about how to accumulate wealth if they are given the slightest opportunity to lead. Be disciplined and rewrite the story of the country for good,” the cleric said. (NAN)
