“A God-Sent Leader”: Kwara Assembly Speaker Praises Governor AbdulRazaq’s Vision

The Speaker, Kwara House of Assembly, Hon. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, says Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, is a game changer and God-sent leader, as he marks his 65th birthday.
Danladi-Salihu, in a congratulatory message on Wednesday in Ilorin, commended the governor for formulating and implementing clear cut programmes and policies engendering the growth and development of the state.
”On behalf of myself, my co-lawmakers, the management and staff of Kwara Assembly, I congratulate the governor of Kwara, and chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum on his 65th birthday.
”Your passion for development – infrastructure and human capital, regular and prompt payment of civil servants’ salaries, and retirees’ pensions have shown that you are a God-sent leader.
“Also, your respect for the traditional institution shows that your major preoccupation is to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people of our dear state.
”For the umpteenth time, we as representatives of the people in the parliament, make bold to say that the impact of your administration is being felt in all the 193 wards in the state.
”We especially appreciate your respect for the rule of law and the independence of the legislature, as you allowed us – the lawmakers, to discharge our duty without any interference,” the speaker said.
According to him, the governor’s position has greatly ensured a harmonious relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government, which in turn, ensured good governance in Kwara.
”We pray Allah (SWT) to continue to guide you aright and grant you more enablement to continue the good work you have embarked upon about six years ago,” Danladi-Salihu said. (NAN)
