Kwara’s Solid Minerals: Streamlining Revenue for Growth
Commissioner Pledges Support for Consultants, Addresses Operational Challenges for Enhanced Productivity

Kwara State Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development, Chief Mrs Abosede Olaitain Buraimoh, has assured revenue consultants of haulage fees on Marbles, Metal scraps, Sand, and laterite of Government Cooperation, adding that their challenges would be channeled appropriately to enhance their productivity on the assigned task.
The Commissioner gave this assurance in her office today, when Revenue Consultants paid her a familiarization visit, following her assumption of office as the new Commissioner in the Ministry.
Having studied their records of revenue remittance, Buraimoh commended the Consultants for their regular remittance of haulage revenue into government coffers and charged them to continue with the same Spirit of consistency.
She thereafter assured them that the Government would look into their challenges and address them to enhance their productivity on the task assigned to them.
Speaking on behalf of other Consultants, Otunba Ahmed Gegele of Shomat-gulf Ventures appraised the AbdulRahman AAbdulRazaq-led administration, for giving them the opportunity and conducive atmosphere to operate in their specialized line of duty, appealing to the government to help address the challenges facing their revenue collection.
The meeting which eventually turned out to be a brainstorming session on the way forward and hopes for a robust working relationship for an effective and seamless revenue remittance was attended by other Consultants like; Mr. Bello Bashir of Alhaji Wowo Bello and Sons Ltd, Mr. Reuben Okediji of Gold twice Ventures and Alhaji Muhammed Abdullahi of Osholo Ventures Nig Ltd.
